Entry Requirements for all Mares

Equine Viral Arteritis (EVA) and Equine Infectious Anaemia (EIA)
A negative blood test taken after the 1st January of the current year

Contagious Equine Metritis (CEM)
A negative clitoral swab taken after 1st January of the current year

Equine Influenza Vaccination
All mares must be fully vaccinated against equine influenza and a booster must have been given within six months and no less than seven days of arrival at the stud. If a booster is due whilst the mares is at the stud it will be given unless advised otherwise.

Freedom from Infection Declaration
A signed declaration is required for each mare stating that she has not been in contact with, nor has shown any signs consistent with Strangles or any other infectious disease, or that there have been no signs of infectious disease at the premises of origin.

Passport
The original passport must accompany the mare.
