As of 17th March 2020 at 21:00:

In light of the ever changing situation with the Coronavirus / COVID-19 we wanted to make clear our policy to safeguard all in, or around Martley Hall Stud Arenas. We wish to protect our team here and whilst we do not intend to close our facilities yet, this is highly likely to happen at some point over the forthcoming weeks.  For the time being we are aiming to reduce human interaction to a minimum. So, from Monday 16th March we have closed our café.  There will be no coffee or tea facilities available.

Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for regular updates as the government advice develops and changes.

Clinics:

All clinic sessions will continue to run unless cancelled by the named instructor.  We will post cancellations on our events pages of our website  and Facebook. All clinics will run on a one in / one out policy. Please do not arrive any sooner than 10 minutes prior to your allotted clinic session time.  Once your session is finished, please leave the arena without stopping for a chat, box your horse up and depart the site as quickly as possible. Please do not bring spectators with you.  Please limit yourself to one rider, and one other person for assistance per horse vehicle.  Clinics with more than one person per instructor will be reviewed the week prior to the event.

Private Hire:

All private hire sessions must be paid for online prior to arrival, or by contactless payment on arrival.  My team will not accept cash payments and have the right to refuse cash payments.  The inability to pay prior to use, may result in your session being cancelled.

Competitions:

We have a number of British Dressage events scheduled and have to follow their guidance.  The advice from BD was updated today in a joint statement with British Showjumping,
“In light of yesterday’s UK Government advice on the risks to public health presented by the coronavirus, British Dressage (BD) and British Showjumping (BS) have taken a number of decisions around sporting and training activities for the next four week period, up to and including 16 April.”  Optimum Event Management who run all the affiliated and unaffiliated dressage competitions will be in touch regarding future dressage competitions.

For the full statement please see:  https://www.britishdressage.co.uk/bd-info/coronoavirus-covid-19/

Please be considerate to others around you; wash your hands thoroughly on arrival and departure of the venue.  If you have any cold or flu like symptoms, dry cough or a fever please do not come to Martley Hall Stud. We will be operating a no quibbles cancellation policy during this period of time, until further notice.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience this may cause but I’m sure you will appreciate our position for the safety of all our staff and clients.

Stay Safe & Take Care
