As our family, friends and regular clients will be aware, we are in the depths of major building works at Martley Hall. The equestrian facilities have not escaped the planned facelifts and we have been making changes since November when we took on the beautiful Easton Park Stud.
Martley Hall’s first phase has been completed. So far, we have added a new hard standing car park, renewed the surface with the latest wax-based cushion track® premier surface, making it suitable for show jumping and carriage driving as well as dressage, and we have added in new full width dressage mirrors offering total visibility of the entire arena.
We are hugely excited about phase two which will include a complete facelift of the interior of the indoor arena for spectators, judges and riders. There will be WCs and showers, a café, a viewing gallery, a judge’s box, a sound system and disabled access for all. We can’t wait to show it off to all at our grand opening day in early July.
INDOOR ARENA TEMPORARILY CLOSED 15th April – 30th June
The second phase is due to commence in the next few weeks. This will mean that for Health & Safety we will have to TEMPORARILY close the indoor arena from Mid-April to the end of June. We know this will be inconvenient and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
OUTDOOR ARENA STILL OPEN
We will continue to make the outdoor arena available for private hire only during non building hours, providing we feel it is safe to do so. We will assess the situation weekly. Therefore, all bookings will be taken via telephone or email only, so that we can have a direct 1-2-1 conversation with each individual. Opening hours will be:
- Mondays to Fridays 4pm-8pm*
- Saturdays & Sundays 8am – 8pm*
*The last booking slot available will be from 8pm -9pm*
